Mario Strikers: Battle League: How to unlock every Cup

Mario Strikers: Battle League is the newest Mario sports video game where you can get your soccer fix in once again with some of your favorite Mario characters. If you are looking to play through Mario Strikers: Battle League’s version of a single-player campaign, you will be playing through the various Cups the game has to offer.

Not only will completing the various Cups that are offered in Mario Strikers: Battle League grant you a sense of accomplishment, but they will also grant you coins that you can use to purchase items in the game. These Cups are a great way to practice and put some of the skills you have learned to the test before you go online and contend with gamers around the world.

How to unlock the Championship Cup

If you head over to the Cup Battles section in the game, you will notice that there are five different Cups that you can try and compete for and see if you can come out on top of each of them. These five Cups are the Cannon cup, Chain cup, Turbo cup, Muscle cup and Trick cup. While five different Cups is surely going to keep you busy for a little bit of time, your Cup chasing journey is far from being over.

If you successfully complete each of the five Cups above on Normal difficulty, you will unlock the Championship Cup. The Championship Cup will be sure to test the skills you have learned throughout your playthrough and is definitely going to an upgrade in terms of difficulty from the prior five basic Cups.

How to unlock the Galactic Cup

The hardest cup in all of Mario Strikers: Battle League is by far the Galactic Cup. The Galactic Cup is only able to be unlocked one way. First you need to unlock Galactic Mode, which is basically just a fancier version of saying Hard Mode. In order to unlock Galactic Mode, all you have to do is conquer the Championship Cup. Once you have beaten the Championship Cup, Galactic Mode will be unlocked and will be a choice to choose between when picking difficulty levels.

Now that you have Galactic Mode unlocked, you will be ready to get your hands on the Galactic Cup. The Galactic Cup is unlocked the same way as you unlocked the Championship Cup. Compete the five basic Cups, but this time instead of completing those Cups on Normal difficulty, you will need to beat them all on Galactic difficulty. Once you have completed these steps, you will now have the final and most difficult Cup unlocked, the Galactic Cup.

Mario Strikers: Battle League is going to take you on a little bit of a grind as you try and complete everything the game has to offer. After all of the time you spend grinding through these Cups, you will have a greatly increased familiarity with the game, and you may want to dabble with some of the online game modes if you have not done so already.

Unlocking all of the Cups in Mario Strikers: Battle League might seem like a lot of repetitiveness, but you will gain a lot of experience and coins that you can use throughout the length of the game.
