Fortnite has officially kicked off a two-week in-game Star Wars special that began on May 3 and runs all the way through May 17. For the next two weeks, gamers will be able to purchase Star Wars outfits from the Item shop, use various different lightsabers to dominate your opponents on the attlefield and even complete six brand new Star Wars themed quests specifically made for these next two weeks.

These six new Star Wars themed quests are definitely something that gamers should try and complete before they are no longer here. Each of the six quests rewards you with 30,000 XP and by completing them all you will also be rewarded with a Star Wars Empire Banner. The quests will only be available till May 17, so it is better to get a head start on them now instead of waiting till the last minute to complete them.

How to complete each Star Wars themed Quest

Completing these Star Wars Quests is not going to be the most difficult thing that you will encounter. In fact, you may just get them naturally by playing through Fortnite over the course of the next couple of weeks.

Star Wars Quest List

  • Land at a Stormtrooper Checkpoint, then place top 25
  • Complete a bounty from a Stormtrooper
  • Block ten hits using a lightsaber
  • Damage opponents within 30 meters using the E-11 Blaster Rifle (1,000 damage total)
  • Drive a vehicle from Chonker’s Speedway or Logjam Lumberyard to a Stormtrooper Checkpoint
  • Survive five storm phases while carrying a lightsaber

If you take a look at the list, most of these are pretty straight forward. If you have a lightsaber in hand, all you are going to have to do is make it to the next phase of the circle and that will count as one of the phases towards the “Survive five storm phases while carrying a lightsaber.” You can basically get that Quest completed in one game if you manage to get your hands on a lightsaber soon enough. Plus, while you are managing to survive storm phases with using a lightsaber, you may have opportunities in the game to block some hits with the lightsaber. Do that 10 times and you are already 1/3 of the way completed.

Another great way to potentially knock out multiple Quests at once is to land at one of the three Stormtrooper checkpoints scattered across the Fortnite map. You can collect a bounty from the Stormtroopers there and if you have enough gold bars, you can buy the E-11 Blaster Rifle there as well. If you land at the Stormtrooper Checkpoint, take a bounty from the Stormtrooper and buy the E-11 Blaster Rifle while you are there, you will have the opportunity to knock out three birds with one stone. A lot of people are going to be landing at these Stormtrooper Checkpoints however, so prepare for a lot of conflict if you do land here.

At this point there is only one Quest left to finish and that is to drive a vehicle from Chonker’s Speedway or Logjam Lumberyard to a Stormtrooper Checkpoint. This is one of the easiest of the six Star Wars Quests to complete. Go to either of the two locations, hop in a vehicle and make your way to a Stormtroopers Checkpoint. Once you arrive, you will complete this challenge and another 30,000 XP will be yours for the taking.

If you end up finishing all six Quests by May 17, not only will you get the Star Wars Empire Banner, but you also will have gotten 180,000 XP along the way. With this being a limited time event, it is always better to just get it done. After May 17, you will not have this opportunity again which is why I always suggest to just do it if you can do it.
