The NBA Playoffs are in full swing and if you’re looking to get into some of that basketball action, NBA 2K22 has arrived on Xbox Game Pass this week. Those who are Xbox Game Pass members can download 2K’s critically acclaimed NBA game for free on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Basketball fans can follow along with each round of the NBA playoffs in MyTeam Mode and complete Agendas for their biggest moments through the New Lifetime Agenda Groups. Doing so will earn Moment player cards.

MyTeam just kicked off its sixth season, Zero Gravity, but it’s never too late to jump in and start building your dream team of NBA stars and legends. NBA 2K22 features players across multiple eras of basketball and the iconic mode now features MyTeam Draft, a multiplayer ode where players pick a full lineup of Player Cards to assemble their team.

Of course, there are other modes in NBA 2K22 including MyCareer, a personal journey through your professional basketball career, and MyNBA, the game’s franchise mode.  For those playing on Xbox Series X|S, your MyCareer will take place in The City, a massive open-world space where you can complete objectives and experience life as a NBA superstar. On Xbox One, you’ll set sail aboard the Cancha Del Mar cruise ship which includes various basketball activities.

NBA 2K22 prides itself on being the most realistic basketball sim but I don’t think anyone envisioned a season in which the Los Angeles Lakers, led by LeBron James, would miss the playoffs. Or that the Brooklyn Nets, with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, would be swept out of the first round. It’s time to take the game into your hands, play how you want to play, and step out onto the court of NBA 2K22.
