Sony hasn’t yet announced next month’s lineup of free PlayStation plus games but a new report from French gaming site Dealsab has reportedly leaked it. While not officially confirmed, Dealsab has correctly leaked the PS Plus lineups for months now, so there’s a good chance this one is legit. And if so, PS Plus members are in for quite a treat.

Headlining May’s lineup of free games for PS Plus members is supposedly FIFA 22. I’m pretty sure, we’re all familiar with this series by now. FIFA 22 is the latest installment, released back in October 2021. Both the PS5 and PS4 version of FIFA 22 will apparently be free.

Gearbox’s Tribes of Midgard is also rumored to be free. Developed by Norsefell Games, Tribes of Midgard is an action role-playing survival game played in from an isometric top-down view. Play solo or cooperatively with a tribe of up to 10 other players, the goal is to protect the seed of Yggdrasil from dangerous enemies who seek to destroy it. During the day, you must go out and forage for resources to craft new weapons, armor and village defenses. At night, it’s time to defend your settlement from the attackers. Again, both the PS5 and PS4 versions of Tribes of Midgard are supposedly free.

The third and final game leaked for May is Curse of the Dead Gods, a dungeon crawler roguelike in which you explore procedurally generated dungeons in search for money, power and eternal life.

Again, May’s PS Plus lineup hasn’t been confirmed, but this would be a pretty awesome batch of games to get for free. FIFA 22 is a top tier sports game, while Tribes of Midgard and Curse of the Dead Gods are both entertaining in their own right.

Next. PlayStation Plus Premium will require 2-hour game trials from developers. dark

May is quite likely the last month before the revamped PlayStation Plus service launches in June. The new version of PS Plus will offer three subscription tiers; Essential, Extra and Premium. All three tiers will offer free monthly games though.
