You don’t have to collect everything all at once

If you are like me, then you love to try and collect all the collectibles a video game has to offer. I find it really fun to go back and try to 100% video games. It allows you to get more use out of a video game and it allows you to unlock many more additions that a video game has to offer. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has its fair share of collectibles to unlock. I know it may be hard to go through an Episode and not try and get 100% right away, but it may be hard to do that at first.

A variety of different collectibles require certain characters to acquire them. Luckily, just like any other open-world game, as soon as you complete one episode in full, you unlock Galaxy Free Play mode. You can find Galaxy Free Play floating around after the main menu screen when you are selecting an Episode to play. Keep scrolling through all nine Episodes until you find the Galaxy Free Play game mode. This will allow you to go back and play any areas that you have already unlocked, and you can work towards getting all the collectibles and character unlocks that you so desire.

Don’t fall asleep on your upgrades

Upgrades are in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for a reason. Don’t fall asleep on these. There are upgrades for each of the ten character classes. However, there is also a section of upgrades that is called “Core Upgrades.” Core Upgrades will affect every character no matter what class you are using. These should be some of the first upgrades that you focus on first. Once you upgrade these Core Upgrades, you can focus on the various character classes, but these should take sole priority.

You will find that in the Core Upgrade section there are upgrades to make your characters run faster, make collectibles easier to find, and even one that attracts Studs that are found in a certain radius. These upgrades will come in handy as you progress through the story, especially the one that attracts Studs. Being able to collect Studs while not having to put too much focus into it is a huge advantage.
