2. Max Scherzer (97 Overall)

The New York Mets hit the jackpot with Max Scherzer, especially since they already have Jacob deGrom. Scherzer is most recognizable for when he played for the Washington Nationals. He deliver the franchise their first ever World Series in 2019. This also become the first and only World Series title for Max Scherzer through his illustrious 15 year career.

The Washington Nationals went from the top to the bottom very quickly after losing both Trea Turner and Max Scherzer in short order. Nationals went from a top team to now one of the worst teams in MLB The Show 22.

Max Scherzer had a quick little stint with the Dodgers in 2021 and now will play for his new team in the New York Mets. Both teams who are now a top five team to play for in the MLB and MLB the show 22.

To go along with his one World Series win from 2019, Scherzer has a whole bunch of other accolades for his Hall of Fame career. He has been an All-Star eight times and has won the NL Cy Young on three different occasions.

As the legend will be turning 38 years old this July, it is time to appreciate everything that Max Scherzer has done for the game of baseball. He is one of the all-time greats and sits at a 97 overall in MLB The Show 22. Nothing lasts forever, so now would be the time to use such a legendary pitcher to your advantage.
