Pinpoint pitching

The last pitching option available in MLB The Show 22 is Pinpoint Pitching. Pinpoint pitching is the most authentic pitching option in the game. This is the most complex pitching option, but it also allows you the most flexibility and gives you the most control over every one of your pitches. Each pitch in the pitcher’s arsenal has a different pattern that you have to trace with the right analog stick. Before you throw the pitch, a display will appear with how fast you need to trace the image and how you need to trace it. You will have to try and mimic the same speed of the trace and the same shape of the trace. There will also be two little contracting circles in the pitching image that shoe you where each ending point of the pitch is. You need to correctly trace the image at the right pace and get to the contracting circles when they overlap each other to have a perfect pitch.

This pitching method is the hardest one to master in my opinion. However, this is the pitching option that I suggest everyone uses in order to get better at using it. Most of the competitive gamers will use this pitching option because of much control it gives you over each one of your pitches. At first it may be really hard to use, but once it is mastered it will make you feel like you are in the MLB yourself. It will take lots of time to learn so don’t get discouraged.

These are all five of your Pitching Options in MLB The Show 22. Now that you know what each one does, you can go into practice mode and experiment with each of them to see which one fits your playstyle. No matter how hard Pinpoint Pitching seems at first, I suggest that you stick with it and use this pitching method. At first, you may get a lot of low velocity and inaccurate pitches, but it will all be well worth it once you master this method.
