2. Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays are the only Canadian team in the MLB and perhaps the best American League team that you can use in MLB The Show 22. When you think of the Toronto Blue Jays, you most likely think of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the face of the Blue Jays franchise. Coming in at a 96 overall, Valdimir Guerrero Jr. deserves every one of those overall points.

Last season the Blue Jays came in 4th place in the A.L. East and missed the playoffs. Don’t be fooled by them finishing in 4th place. They had 91 wins and 71 losses and missed the playoffs by the skin of their teeth. Four out of the five teams in the A.L. East last season got to 90 wins or more which is kind of annoying if you are a Blue Jays fan. If you are an MLB fan, you love to see the competitiveness that the American League East brought.

The talent just doesn’t end at Valdimir Guerrero Jr. either. They have a very well-balanced pitching rotation that will be key to hold teams to as little runs as possible. Kevin Gausman, Alek Manoah, Jose Berrios, and Hyun-Jin Ryu at their best are all reliable pitchers and can do a great job limiting the opposition enough to the point where power and contact will take over. The Blue Jays rank 2nd in Contact and 3rd in Power in MLB The Show 22. These are some scary stats if you are looking at it as an opponent rather than a teammate.
