Every Gen 7 Pokemon has been found in Pokemon GO’s master files in a data mine, from Rowlett to the Ultra Beasts. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Alola Pokemon update.

Pokemon GO: Gen 7 Pokemon found in data mine

We’ve seen Alolan forms of other Pokemon a lifetime ago in 2018, but now native Alolan Pokemon have been found as well.

According to PokeMiners, all Pokemon first appearing in Sun/Moon are in the game’s master files. The moves of these Pokemon aren’t known yet, but their Evolution requirements and stats are.

Some of these evolution requirements seem high, as you’ll need 400 candy for some like Stufful and Wimpod. There’s still a few other minor things missing in the files, like Lycanroc Dusk’s evolution requirements.

There’s a few notable variants coming for Legendaries. Necrozma gets its normal forms as well as the three powered up forms we saw in Ultra Sun/Moon. Megearna has both color forms.

Speaking of Legendaries and Ultra Beasts, they have some crazy stats Ultra Necrozma has an attack of 337, Kartana has 323 attack and Guzzlord has a massive 440 HP. I’d expect these Ultra Beasts to be beasts in the Ultra League as their name implies.

It’s not known when the update will go live, but with the lack of moves programmed it may still be a few months away.

The last major update in December 2020 saw the arrival of Generation 6 Pokemon. The master files had that batch of Pokemon a month before they went live, so it’s entirely possible we see the new Alola update to come just before April 2022.

Niantic’s official Q1 2022 roadmap doesn’t mention anything about it, but I wouldn’t have expected them to anyway. We’re just coming off of GO Tour Johto, and there’s a few small-scale adventures coming to the game later this Spring.
