WWE 2K22: The Undertaker should have the highest overall rating
The Undertaker is one of the most iconic figures in sports entertainment. When you think of some of the best wrestlers of all time, The Deadman is definitely on that list.
What made him so special was the character he portrayed in WWE. There is nothing more bone chilling for wrestlers than when they hear his infamous bell.
February 16, 2022 will always be a special date for the Phenom. It was first reported by the New York Post that The Undertaker will headline WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022 at WrestleMania 38. His illustrious career will officially be cemented in history on April 1, 2022.
With that being said, hopefully WWE 2K22 will honor The Undertaker by granting him as the highest overall wrestler in the video game.
When it comes to wrestling video games, The Undertaker has been one of the highest rated wrestlers. Even when The Undertaker was still wrestling on a consistent basis, he would still earn the respect of developers and would receive a fairly high rating. The respect that The Undertaker has by fans is something that is truly fascinating. Whenever he enters an arena, he is greeted with nothing but loudest chants and cheers.
WWE 2K22 has released some of the wrestler’s player ratings and at first glace it’s a bit shocking as to what the early overall for The Undertaker is. The base version of The Undertaker currently sits at a 90 overall, but that seems a little bit low for the magnitude and a headlining Hall of Famer. 2K Sports likes to throw in variations of wrestlers into the game so that you can use variations of wrestlers from different eras. Rey Mysterio is this year’s cover athlete for WWE 2K22 and there are at least seven different playable variations of Rey Mysterio.
According to the official WWE 2K22 trailer, the pre-order bonus for this year’s game is three different playable versions of The Undertaker. Hopefully, one of these variations really give the Phenom as well-deserved ratings bump. With The Undertaker headlining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022, I think it would be kind of cool if there was playable Hall of Fame Undertaker that was the highest overall added to the game after his official induction.
The ratings reveal did happen before any of this news was announced, but regardless, a 90 overall just seems way to low in my opinion. I really hope that the different variations of The Undertaker that we will be getting will really be upwards of 90 overall. Hall of Fame or not, The Undertaker’s career is way more deserving than a 90 overall.

WWE 2K22 is set to enter the ring on March 11. There very well could be a post-launch update that changes some of the ratings. Perhaps the Undertaker will be honored when he joins the Hall of Fame.
