NBA 2K22 Player Ratings Update arrives in time for All-Star Weekend
The latest NBA 2K22 Player Ratings update has dropped just in time for the All-Star Weekend. Tons of adjustments have been made with players on all 30 NBA teams having experienced either an increase or decrease in their overall. The update also takes into account the latest trades that occurred before the deadline.
One of the most notable players that saw an increase from this update was Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic, who has had a scorching February. Doncic has played in 7 games so far this month and in those 7 games is averaging 34.4 points, 10.0 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game.
Doncic has been absolutely dominant this month and will have to continue to do so for the rest of this season if him and the Dallas Mavericks want to contend for the NBA Championship. It’s a shame that the NBA is currently on their All-Star break because who knows how Doncic would have carried that momentum. Doncic was previously a 94 overall but he has now been bumped up to a 95 overall and is now the seventh highest ranked player in NBA 2K22.

As you can tell, this was a massive NBA 2K22 Player Ratings Update. However, there was one thing that did not change — Giannis Antetokounmpo is still the highest rated player in NBA 2K22 with a 97 overall.
The NBA made a few massive trades before the deadline and James Harden was featured in perhaps the biggest one of the year. Harden was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and interestingly enough, his rating actually went from a 91 overall down to a 90 overall. This is kind of surprised because you would think that he may have more success on the 76ers after how the Brooklyn Nets season has gone so far.
Another thing to take note of from this NBA 2K22 update is that the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Minnesota Timberwolves were the only four teams in NBA 2K22 that did not have one of their players see a decrease in overall. Each one of these teams has had success this season and are currently playoff teams so this really doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
With how many changes there really were, I am sure that you will begin to notice a significant amount of difference depending on what teams you use. As I previously stated before, Giannis Antetokounmpo is solely the highest rated athlete at a 97 overall, but there are five players behind him at a 96 overall. Antetokounmpo still holds the crown for now, but you never know what may happen with any future NBA 2K22 Player Ratings Update.
