Madden 22: Superbowl LVI players that may get a ratings boost
How can Superbowl LVI affect the Cincinnati Bengals in Madden 22?
If you were to have told me that the Cincinnati Bengals would be playing in this year’s Superbowl, I would have said there is no shot that, that statement comes true. They definitely have a talented roster but given how young their roster is, I really didn’t see it in the forecast. The Bengals decided that they would love to prove everyone wrong and now sit one game away from taking away the crown.
The Bengals are not a very highly rated team in Madden 22. They have a very young roster and I think they are a couple years shy of tasting Superbowl glory, but what they have done to get up to this point has truly been spectacular. Joe Burrow has been an elite playmaker and just when you think Joe Burrow has no open receivers, he makes sure to make his receivers open by threading the needle. This team has been fun to watch and here are some Cincinnati Bengals players that wouldn’t shock me to have a Madden 22 ratings boost after Superbowl LVI:
- Joe Burrow (86 Overall)
- Ja’Marr Chase (84 Overall)
- Tyler Boyd (83 Overall)
- Tee Higgins (82 Overall)
- Evan McPherson (82 Overall)
The chemistry that Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase is electrifying to watch. It will be witnessed once again during the Superbowl. Team chemistry is such an important element in sports and could be the reason why the Cincinnati Bengals are here to begin with. That brings me back to Joe Burrow. When that pass isn’t open to Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd flies in to save the day. It just is incredible to watch Joe Burrow feed passes to his offensive team. Then when both those players are guarded Tee Higgins may make some waves too. The Bengals definitely aren’t low on options.
Perhaps another key athlete to this Cincinnati Bengals football team is Evan McPherson. McPherson has been absolutely solid in his career so far and has proven that NFL Playoff pressure has had no effect on him thus far. There may be key moments during Superbowl LVI that requires Evan McPherson to be on his absolute best and I am sure he will not disappoint. Almost every single one of his kicks during the Bengals playoff run has been right down the middle. For a man with the accuracy and power that he packs behind that leg, an 82 overall rating does not do it justice.
The Superbowl LVI winner will definitely have some sort of ratings alteration either in Madden 22 or Madden 23. We have seen the Championship winner of any sport go on to be a higher rated team than they previously were from the year prior. This is a trend that doesn’t appear to change too often and that is with good reason. Regardless of which team walks away as the winner, both teams have players that will make an impact during the game and both teams will be candidates for a ratings boost for their players.
