Microsoft hasn’t posted its list of upcoming games set to arrive on Xbox Game Pass in February 2022, but we do know of five games which have already been confirmed. Dreamscaper, Besiege: Console Edition, Edge of Eternity, Total War: Warhammer 3 and Shredders have all be confirmed as coming to Xbox Game Pass in February. Here’s when you can expect from each of these new arrivals.

Dreamscaper (February 3)

Kicking things off for the month will be Dreamscaper, a highly replayable action roguelike with a walking/dreaming gameplay cycle. At night, you must delve deep into your subconscious, facing your nightmares and conquering your enemies. During the day, you can explore the city of Redhaven, building relationships and unlocking upgrades that’ll help you take on your next dream cycle. With each cycle, the Dreamscape changes, resulting in new nightmares to vanquish.

Having just come off beating Returnal, the concept of “Dream. Die. Wake. Repeat.” is certainly familiar to me. Similar to Returnal, permadeath is your friend as some of the progress you make during your failed run will ultimately help you in your next.

Besiege Console (February 10)

Launching as a Game Preview, Besiege Console is a physics based building (and destroying) game where you construct war machines to conquer fortresses and annihilate legions of soldiers. Besiege Console isn’t just about building cool machines, but solving the physics puzzles presented to you. There’s a single-player campaign in which you must blast your way through four unique islands. While the game is quite familiar with the PC version, many elements have been reworked for a polished console experience.

Edge of Eternity (February 10)

Edge of Eternity is an indie JRPG inspired by the likes of Final Fantasy, Xenogears and other classics. Taking place in a fantasy, sci-fi setting, players follow Daryon and Selene on a quest to find a cure to Corrosion, a fatal disease unleashed on the land by enemy invaders. Edge of Eternity features classic turn-based combat developed by a passionate team of JRPG lovers.

Total War: Warhammer 3 (February 17) – PC

Launching on day one on Game Pass for PC, Total War: Warhammer III is the latest installment in the epic strategy franchise from Creative Assembly and Games Workshop. All of the past five years have been building to this moment, an epic conclusion as factions face off against daemons and monsters from the Chaos Realms. Total War: Warhammer 3 is shaping up to be the biggest Total War game ever, featuring six factions, nine legendary lords, larger maps, and more.

Shredders (TBA)

Shredders doesn’t have an exact release date as of this writing, but is expected to launch at some point in February. When it does, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day, playable on Xbox Series X|S. Shredders is a love-letter to snowboarding, inspired by the Amped games and various snowboarding films. The game features a unlockable open world, a selection of top pro riders, a story mode, and an in-depth customization system in which you can snowboard with your own style. Shredders is expected to release in February, although there’s talk it could be delayed until March.
