The PlayStation 5 has been released for well over a year now and while some people have still been struggling to get their hands on one, others have been grinding away on it. With PlayStation 5 being one of the top and competitive consoles on the market, it was only a matter of time before the first competitive pro controller would be released. Scuf Gaming has this honor by being the first company to create a third-party PlayStation 5 controller. Competitive gaming is bigger than ever right now in today’s gaming era and Scuf’s new Reflex line of PS5 controllers will be sure to give gamers a competitive edge, but at a steep cost.

Scuf Gaming has created three models of their PlayStation 5 controllers. Those models are called the Reflex ($199), Reflex Pro ($229), and Reflex FPS ($259). Each of the models have their own unique features. However, each of the three models will feature four rear paddles on the back of the controller that will allow customization to suit each individual gamer. Also, each model will feature the option to replace the thumbsticks to the liking of the user. If you want shorter, longer, concaved, or domed, those will all be options for you to change to your preference.

The Reflex Pro and Reflex FPS will each feature something only unique to those two models. That feature being a “high-performance” grip around their back to make them easier to hold. Hence why those models tend to be a bit more on the pricier side. The Reflex FPS actually has a feature that is unique only to that specific model and that has to do with the triggers.

If you are someone who is looking in to get the highest priced model of the Reflex controller that Scuf is making, you should be aware that the Reflex FPS features instant triggers that make it seem like when you pull the triggers it is similar to the clicking of a computer mouse. What this means is that the pull time for each of the triggers is a lot shorter than a normal controller and thus will give you the edge in any shooters that you are playing in.

Not only do Scuf controllers give you the reactive edge in terms of using the triggers, but each model can be customized extensively so that no matter what situation you find yourself in, you have the edge. If you are looking to purchase one of these Reflex controllers for your PlayStation 5, you can join the email list straight off of Scuf’s official website.

All three models will only be available to purchase in the color black, but more colors will be available in the coming weeks and months after they are released. If you are worried about getting the color you want, the faceplate can be removed, and you will be able to add the color faceplate of your choice once new colors are release.
