6. Team Plasma

Firstly, I genuinely dislike this outfit but there’s a reason that it’s not as bad as Team Yell or Galatic, see, Team Plasma dressed like this on purpose. Their main purpose was to trick people into thinking that they perceived themselves as noble knights trying to liberate Pokemon. They were actually just trying to be the only people who had Pokemon, shifting the power balance of the world (which is ridiculous but a cool twist) so their costumes at least make sense.

In fact, towards the end of the Black and White games, when their true motives are revealed, most of the members dump this Medieval Times nonsense for straight-up military uniforms. But despite WHY they’re wearing it, it doesn’t change the fact that they look like they should be working at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

5. Team Flare

Okay, so there is nothing wrong with going with the suit and shades look. I’m normally a fan of it. But if you’re trying to create a more beautiful world, are we really going to do that wearing red on red? It looks cool on sprite but in real life, someone wearing head to toe bright red would look like a clown.

It’s a shame too because if you saw their generals Aliana, Bryony, Celosia, and Mable, you’d think they were the best-looking team out there. It seems like Team Flare leader Lysandre took all the team’s available fashion sense and just broke it into fourths and handed it out to the generals. Like, check out the looks Celosia is serving.

Like, I’m sorry but if Team Flare would have shown up with the fits the generals rocked, Team Flare wouldn’t have just won, we would have let them.

4. Team Rocket

I can hear people typing their comments already but I’m not sorry here. Basic looks are nice. I like a good mod aesthetic. But there are many problems here. First off, they look like the nameless goons for the Batman TV show from the 1960s. And while groups like Team Flare or Team Galactic at least look like they fit the theme, I couldn’t even tell you what this look has to do with a rocket.

Also, while, again, the mod look is nice, partnering that with clunky boots and gloves made it look like they left a poetry night to immediately go fly fishing.

And much like Team Flare, the fact that the highest fashion this team puts out only goes to generals like Jessie and James is insane. I love Jessie and James, I love their outfits, but my goodness their look needs to be shared with the rest of the class. Also, sorry not sorry, Giovanni has the most boring look out of any character in Pokemon. Probably explains why his grunts have to suffer from their outfits.
