Happy Home Paradise has been out for a bit now and it is an absolute joy. For someone like myself who’s neurodivergent, it’s even been something I’ve been using to keep myself chill during anxious moments. I love this thing. But while you were busy designing homes and facilities, did you know those facilities actually offer various services?

That’s right. Those places you designed as a special assignment and never visited again are actually chock full of fun secrets. So let’s get into this.

They Hold Addition Clientele

Okay, this one you may have known already and isn’t the biggest secret out there but did you know that, when looking for clients, you can sometimes find some inside the cafes and restaurants? It’s an awesome way to get a second chance when your beach has no good ideas. Or, you know, toilet creeps.

The School – Learn/Unlock New Customization Techniques

When I first built the “Xavier’s School” I didn’t think I’d return to it but then I met someone on the beach who wanted to give a lecture. Turns out, every now and then you’ll find NPCs on the beach who will give lectures at the school. They’ll actually teach you things that, once done, will unlock as a new option. For example, old-school NPC Nat will teach you how to take bugs from your inventory and use them to have insects of your choosing buzzing or crawling around a chosen property. Want a tarantula nightmare? You’re in luck. Also, seek help.

The Hospital – Gain New Clothing Items

Here at the “Sacred Heart” (where my Scrubs fans at) you can actually go back in and request a doctor’s visit. Based on what symptoms you tell the nurse out front, the doctor will “prescribe” various clothing items for you. For example, I told them I had a nose that won’t stop running and he gave me tissues to stuff into both nostrils. You can only do it once a day though so choose wisely.
