While Black Friday traditionally took place on the day after Thanksgiving, more and more retailers are not only expanding the length of their discounts, but starting them early. Dell/Alienware are the latest to launch their Black Friday discounts.

Technically it’s a “sneak peek” at the Black Friday sales but there are plenty of gaming PCs and laptops currently discounted up to $300. Although Black Friday is still to come, I’m assuming the current discounts are the best we’ll see from Dell and Alienware this holiday season so no sense in waiting if you’re in the marketing for a gaming computer.

While Alienware is considered top of the line gaming PC, Dell’s G15 line are wonderful options for those looking to get an affordable gaming rig.

One of the more popular laptops going right now is the G15 SE Gaming Laptop. Normally $1,328, it’s currently discounted 25%, so it costs just $999.99. This laptop features an AMD Ryzen 7 47800H Mobile Processor with Radeon Graphics, AMD Radeon RX 5600M 6GB GDDR, 512GB M.2 PCle NVMe SSD, and 16 GB, 2x8GB, DDR4 ram.

Another popular option is the G7 17 Gaming Laptop for $1,249.99 (discounted 19% from $1,549.99). This features a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB GDDRR6, 17.3″ screen with 300Hz refresh rate, 258 NVMe SSD, and 16GB of ram.

Prior to buying my MSI Katana, which was also discounted for Black Friday, I was contemplated the G15 line.

On the Alienware side, the most popular PC discount right now is the Alienware Aurora R12 Gaming Desktop. This normally sells for $2,129.99, but is discounted $230. This features an 11th Gen Intel Core i&, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6, 250GB NVMe SSD (Boot) + 1TB SATA, and 16GB of ram.

The Alienware m17 R4 Gaming Laptop, which is equally as impressive, although with slightly different specs is discounted by a whopping 22%. You can currently buy it for $1,799.99, a savings of $510.

If you’re in the market for a gaming laptop or PC, Dell and Alienware are as good as they come. It’s a trustworthy, reliable brand. The Dell laptops are a bit more affordable and feature some impressive specs, so you get great bang for your buck if you’re on a budget like I was. The Alienware though, they are just… *chef’s kiss*.
