N64: Cheats, codes and secrets for every Nintendo Switch Online launch game

Mario Tennis

• Play as a lefty
  • Hold down L when selecting a character and they’ll be a cool lefty just like me.
• Unlock Star Tournament (hope you got some free time)
  • Beat the normal tourny mode with every character. If you did it correctly, next time you’re going into the tourny mode all the characters at the selection screen will be glowy. Hold R while selecting your character and the Star Tournament will be available.
• Unlocking Shy Guy and Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Beating the Star Cup in singles will net you my dude Shy Guy whereas beating the Star Cut in doubles will get you Donkey Kong Jr.

Dr. Mario 64

• Unlockable versus characters
  • Metal Mario
    • Beat story mode at least on normal with Wario without losing once.
  • Vampire Wario (who is both real AND spectacular)
    • Beat store mode at least on normal with Dr. Mario without losing once.
• Super Hard Story Mode
  • Hover on Hard when picking a story difficulty and hitting Z will switch it to S-Hard mode. Hitting it again will switch it back when you realized you made a mistake.

Sin and Punishment

• Beat the game to unlock stuff
  • Beating the game on Easy unlocks a Music Test
  • Beating the game on Normal unlocks both the option to turn off Subtitles and Hard Mode
  • Beating the game on Hard unlocks Frame Skip options where you can turn off the slow-motion that sometimes occurs. It will ALSO unlock Turbo Mode where the game plays at double the speed. At this point, go outside, breathe, and ask yourself why you’re tormenting yourself like this.
