Hot Wheels Unleashed adding DC Villains with Super-Villain Racing Season

Hot Wheels Unleashed has been out for a good while now and the game is honestly a blast to play. It also holds a surprising amount of licensed stuff from the classic 90’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Van to the Batmobile to even Snoopy riding his doghouse dressed as the Red Baron.

But if that’s not enough licensed stuff, the current Season Pass is about to roll in strong with the Super-Villain Racing Season on November 11th. The upcoming season focuses primarily on six DC baddies: Cheetah, Black Manta, Deathstroke, Bane, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn.

The Super-Villain Racing Season is going to include both free and paid content but as the game makes a literal toaster as viable as a Formula 1 car you needn’t worry about a pay-to-win scenario.

Each villain is going to have their own car. And while the character is very low on my list of characters I care about, Black Manta’s is the car I absolutely need because it looks amazing. There’s also going to be a plethora of things to change up your profile with as well as basement unlockables so you can make the basement you spend half the game racing around in look more like the Riddler’s hideout, which you absolutely should.

You could also go the Harley/Joker route and make your basement look like a Hot Topic but that’s your road to go down.

The season is going to be around for a bit too. It starts on November 11th but runs until January 18th, 2022 so you have plenty of time to get good enough at the game to unlock all this new stuff.

What licensed properties do you think should be next for Hot Wheels Unleashed? Personally, I’m desperately hoping that Hot Wheels Unleashed does an exclusive pack for the Switch where they bring in all those Super Mario-themed cars they came out with a few years ago. I want to drive around in the Toad car so bad. And it’s not like every single person who unlocked the Raptor car hasn’t already painted it to look like Yoshi in the first place so the interest is there. Come on Mattel.

Either way, again, Super-Villain Racing Season drops on November 11th. Brace yourself (and your back because, you know, Bane. He…he does the back breaking stuff. So like…brace your back.)
