New York Jets

7-10, 4th in AFC East

New quarterback, same old results for the New York Jets. Madden actually predicts Zach Wilson to have a decent rookie season with 3,660 passing yards and 21 touchdowns to just six interceptions. The result is the same though, a last-place finish in the AFC East

The Jets are clearly in a rebuilding phase, so there’s not much to get into with this simulation result. Perhaps something of a bad omen, backup quarterback Brett Rypien also recorded 707 yards and four touchdowns. His playing time suggests that Wilson got hurt at one point in the simulation.

Here are some of the noteworthy receiving stats for you Jets fans out there:

  • Jamison Crowder: 87 receptions, 1,120 yards, 7 TDs
  • Corey Davis: 74 receptions, 961 yards, 6 TDs
  • Tyler Croft: 71 receptions, 955 yards, 4 TDs
  • Keelan Cole Sr: 50 receptions, 622 yards, 5 TDs

Again, there’s not much to break down with this simulation. It’s an improvement on their 2-14 finish last year, so I guess that’s something to look forward to. If Madden’s simulation is correct, there’s at least hope for the future of the New York Jets.
