2. Yanni Gourde

There is a good chance that no matter who you draft from the Tampa Bay Lightning, they will be a pretty decent player. Yanni Gourde was pretty successful on the Lightning, but did that success come by on how stacked that team was? We will have to wait and see about that.

Yanni Gourde will no doubt be a top 6 forward for the Seattle Kraken. Goal scoring won’t be too hard of a task for Yanni Gourde as he had scored 17 goals and 19 assists in 56 games played last year. Being around a different team is something that he will no doubt have to get used too, but once he finds chemistry with his new teammates he will be a threat on the ice.

Yanni Gourde also brings experience to the Kraken. He is a back-to-back two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He played a major part in their journey to the top of the mountain because of his two-way forward capabilities.

When Yanni Gourde isn’t putting the puck in the net, he will be shutting down opposing offense in his defensive zone, which makes him a great center to have on the team. Expect Yanni Gourde to be one of the top five highest rated players on the Seattle Kraken in NHL 22.
