Ronald Acuna Jr. (CF, Atlanta Braves)

  • Overall: 94
  • Power R: 88
  • Power L: 92
  • Contact R: 75
  • Contact L: 74

Just 23-years-old, Ronald Acuna Jr. is a superstar in the making. It’s quite possible he’s the most entertaining player in the game right now. He’s also one of the most talented. And he’s starting to become a legitimate power threat.

After hitting 41 homers in 2019 and 14 in 2020, Acuna is currently leading the Majors in dingers in 2021. Through 16 games, the Braves outfielder has already notched 7 home runs. He doesn’t have the highest power or contact ratings in MLB The Show 21, but he’s also so young. If you’re looking for a young stud to bolster your roster, Acuna is definitely the guy to go after.

  • Overall: 84
  • Power R: 94
  • Power L: 99
  • Contact R: 77
  • Contact L: 79

The 40-year-old Nelson Cruz is in the tail end of his career, but if you are looking for some short-term pop in your lineup, he’s one of the best power hitters there is. Cruz has 99 power against lefties and 94 against righties in MLB The Show 21, and pretty solid contact ratings against both.

He has over 420 career home runs and has hit more than 20 home runs in every season since 2009 (not including 2020). He’s always near the top of the home run category, although he’s only led the league once in 2014 with 40.
