- Power: 2nd

What does a $306.50M team budget get you? The best team in MLB THe Show 21. Last year’s World Series winner are back with an incredible roster that includes RF Mookie Betts (98 OVR), SP Clayton Kershaw (95 OVR), SP Trevor Bauer (93 OVR), CF Codey Bellinger (93 OVR), SP Walker Buehler (89 OVR) and CP Kenley Jansen (86 OVR). Seriously, it’s like playing as an All-Star team.
San Diego Padres
- Rank: 3rd
- Contact: 11th
- Power: 17th
- Pitching: 2nd
- Defense: 6th
- Speed: 4th
The Padres are another stellar team coming out of the West and would easily be the favorites if not for the Dodgers. The Padres have got multiple stars in 3B Manny Machado (95 OVR) and SS Fernando Tatis Jr. (95 OVR). They really shine on the mound, led by SP Yu Darvish (88 OVR), SP Blake Snell (88 OVR), SP Mike Clevinger (87 OVR) and SP Dinelson Lamet (87 OVR).
Arizona Diamondbacks
- Rank: 20th
- Contact: 27th
- Power: 27th
- Pitching 19th
- Defense: 8th
- Speed: 10th
The NL West is really just a two-team race with the remaining teams just playing for 3rd. The Diamondbacks have the edge but that’s not saying much. SP Zac Gallen (86 OVR) and CF Ketel Marte (83 OVR) are their two best players.
San Francisco Giants
- Rank: 24th
- Contact: 6th
- Power: 23rd
- Pitching: 23rd
- Defense 27th
- Speed: 30th
The Giants have three players rated in the low 80s: RF Mike Yastrzemski (84 OVR), C Buster Posey (82 OVR) and SP Kevin Gausman (80 OVR). Beyond that, there’s not much.
Colorado Rockies
- Rank: 25th
- Contact: 12th
- Power: 26th
- Pitching: 25th
- Defense: 14th
- Speed: 1st
After saying goodbye to Nolan Arenado, the Rockies are down to two legitimate hitting threats: SS Trevor Story (91 OVR) and RF Charlie Blackmon (81 OVR). Their best pitcher is SP German Marquez (80 OVR) but we’re playing in Colorado where pitching doesn’t matter anyway.
