Center Field

Surprise, surprise, Mike Trout is, once again, the best center fielder in the game. Not only that, he’s the highest-rated player in MLB The Show 21 also. Trout has a perfect 99 overall rating. He’s considered the best player in the Majors in real life so it’s really not surprising.

Trout is hitting .381 early in the season with a 1.271 OPS. He’s already got four home runs with eight RBIs and a whopping 11 walks. Suffice to say, his rating is well-deserved.

What is exciting though, is Ronald Acuna Jr.’s place on the list. The 23-year-old phenom is quickly becoming one of the most explosive outfielders in the league. If you were impressed with Trout’s stat line this year so far, just wait: Acuna is hitting .447 with five home runs and seven RBIs and a 1.500 OPS.

The talent between Trout and Acuna Jr. almost makes you forget about the third guy on the list, Cody Bellinger. Bellinger has been struggling with an injury early this season but when healthy, Bellinger is just as dangerous at the plate as Trout and Acuna Jr. He checks into MLB The Show 21 with a 91 overall rating.
