Hello Kitty x Animal Crossing

The fighting game you’ve been waiting for is here! No, not really. But it’s still a cool crossover. Starting on the 26th you’ll be able to go to Target and snag a pack of cards from the retailer that are reprints of the same cards they made in the New Leaf era. If you have the originals, they’ll work as well.

In the pack of six cards, each one will feature a different Sanrio character. Scanning it will not only allow you a house full of items based on that character from furniture to wallpaper but also clothing.

Not enough? Well, each card also features a specific villager that you can encourage to move to your island.

As of right now, the packs are looking to cost $5.99 each which, given Sanrio, is pretty cheap.

Whoopie Cushions

Lest I forget, because of April Fools, starting April 1st you’ll be able to get whoopie cushions from the Nook Store that can be placed on chairs or the ground to trick people into making sounds as if they farted. You know, if that’s your thing.

Prom Stuff

Lastly, if you’re a senior in high school, chances are you’ve already come to terms with the fact you probably won’t have a prom this year because of your parent’s inability to follow safety guidelines (yes Dylan, I personally blame YOUR parents. I don’t know any Dylans but we’ve all met Dylans and we know the type of people who’d name their kid Dylan. So don’t sass me, Dil-Dil).

But worry not. You can take a sad realization and make it…sad but in a different way by holding an Animal Crossing prom!

One of the last bits of the update will be to including prom-themed balloons, clothing and decor. And if this part has made you sad, just be glad you’re not a 40-year-old man having to look at the fact that prom balloons say 2021 while his said 1998. Big oof.
