Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Hello Kitty crossover, new Designer Tools and more
More Customizable Items
In addition to being able to customize your island, it will also give you more spots to make custom clothing. If you’re someone like me who filled up your Able Sister’s backway with Re:Zero jackets to Daisy dresses to Wu-Tang shirts, you’ve probably got a full wardrobe.
And speaking of the Able Sisters. You know that thing in there where you can access online patterns? Well, there’s an app for it…soon. As part of the update, you’ll be able to access the online search from your in-game phone and download anything straight to it.
You’ll also be allowed to make more types of custom items. Everything from fans to new clothing types to the constantly requested wooden cutouts. It’s going to be an awesome time for customizers.
Island Tours
After all that customization you’re probably going to have a lot to show off right? Well, Nintendo’s got you. With their new Island Tours feature you’re going to be able to record a video and edit it to showcase some of your favorite spots on the island. Something you’ll be able to upload and share so that you can showcase what you have going without using one of those weird third-party sites where you have to pay for tours.
In addition to the video, you’ll also be able to make cool postcards with the dream address connected so that you can post them to social media and invite the world to come to visit your masterpiece.
Cake(?)
You may have seen all the new things coming out and asked, “that’s cool, but I was told there would be cake.” Well, first off, weird demand, but secondly, yup, you heard right. There is a one-year anniversary cake.
On the first day of the update, all players will find a cake in their mailbox. Normally one of the last places you want to wake up and find cake. But the cake item looks pretty cool as if it is its own tiny island.
