4. K’Andre Miller (New York Rangers, D, 77 Overall)

The last rookie to be added to NHL 21 in this roster update is K’Andre Miller for the New York Rangers. K’Andre Miller has gotten off to a slow start. In three games that Miller has played this season he hasn’t recorded any points yet. Miller also only has 4 shots on goal combined through those three games. It appears that during the early part of season K’Andre Miller is more of a defensive defenseman than an offensive defenseman.

The New York Rangers are in need of some defense this season as they have been allowing more goals than head coach David Quinn would like them too. The New York Rangers are hoping that K’Andre Miller is going to help fill that defensive hole and possibly help them win close games.

K’Andre Miller is a 77 overall in NHL 21. Like I said before with rookie defenseman Alexander Romanov, 77 overall is not terrible and is very respectable for a rookie. EA doesn’t know how to judge players who have only played a couple games in the NHL. Miller’s career is young and starting out as a 77 overall is something that he can build off of and grow as a player. Even some of the greatest NHL players of all time started out with ratings in the 70s and low 80s for NHL video games.
