Dr Disrespect Twitch ban streamers

Dr. Disrespect ban

Guy Beahm, also known as Dr. Disrespect and one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, was suddenly banned and had everything about him scrapped from the streaming platform. People subscribed to his channel had their subscriptions refunded; his emotes, vods, clips, and everything having to do with him was wiped from the site. In the midst of all of the allegations surrounding other content creators and figures in the industry during the time, it felt as if he was next to be ousted, but it wasn’t the case.

Little was known about his termination with Twitch. People had so many theories and many insiders were tight-lipped about the situation. Even the Doc himself did not know why he was banned. It was the talk of the gaming town, despite whether you liked him or not. There seemed to be one obvious reason why he would have been let go from the platform, but that wasn’t really brought up or validated.

To this day, we still don’t know much. He did eventually make the move to YouTube in what felt like a publicity stunt like other prominent streamers have in the past. The Doc does seem to be doing better for himself again, breaking concurrent viewer and average viewer numbers on YouTube compared to how he did on Twitch. In due time, we will know so the extremely detailed theories can all be laid to rest.
