Cyber Monday 2020: The best Nintendo Switch deals

The Cyber Monday deals are here! Save on a Nintendo Switch console, if you can find one, as well as games and peripherals.

Looking to buy a Nintendo Switch or some games? Cyber Monday deals are here and while the Switch is hard to come by this holiday season, there’s plenty of savings to be had on games. Check out some of the highlights this year.

Nintendo’s Cyber Deals

Nintendo actually kicked off its Cyber Deals last week, offering savings of up to 50% on select digital games. Popular games like MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order, The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening, Cuphead, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Hades, Catherine: Full Body and more are discounted until December 2 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Check out the deals here or shop directly on your Nintendo Switch system.

Supergiant Games

As part of Nintendo’s Cyber deals, you can save on three of Supergiant Games award-winning titles, including smash-hit dungeon crawler and game of the year nominee Hades. Here are the discounts, and I recommend all three games.

• Hades – $19.99 (normally $24.99)
• Bastion – $2.99 (normally $14.99)
• Transistor – $3.99 (normally $19.99)

Sega, Devolver, Capcom and 2K Digital Cyber Deals

Major third-party publishers are offering discounts on their games through December 2. There are far too many games to list here, so definitely check them out on the Nintendo site.

Target

Target has an interesting Mario combination. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe & Super Mario Party Double Pack features both games for $79.99, a $20 savings. You can also get Minecraft Dungeons Hero Edition for $19.99.

Other than that, Target’s Cyber Monday deals are pretty similar to what was offered on Black Friday. The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening (digital) and Super Mario Party (digital) are available for $39.99. Target is hosting an entire digital sale on Switch games here. Unfortunately, many of the discounts on physical Switch games don’t apply to Cyber Monday.

Another good deal is the 12-month Nintendo Switch Online Family Membership. You can save $15 and get an entire year for just $19.99.

GameStop

On Monday only, you can get the following Switch games for just $39.99 each (physical versions):

• Luigi’s Mansion 3
• Super Mario Maker 2
• The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
• Supe rmario Bros. U Deluxe
• Splatoon 2
• Fire Emblem: Three Houses
• Yoshi’s Crafted World
• Mario Tennis Aces

I would check out the full sale though because there are other games that you can get up to 50% off.

Unique to GameStop, you can get a Collector’s Set of 4 16oz Super Mario Glasses with the purchase of a Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, the Switch is sold out at GameStop.

Best Buy

Best Buy is selling the Nintendo Switch Online 12-month Family membership for its regular price $34.99, but you also get a free SanDisk 128GB memory card to store games on for your Switch ($67.99 value).

Best Buy is also participating in the Digital Games sale, discounting the digital versions of a number of Switch games including:

• Super Mario Party – $39.99
• The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening – $39.99
• Cuphead – $14.99
• Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – $39.99

Physical versions of Switch games are also on sale with savings of up to 50%.

If you own a Nintendo Switch already, Cyber Monday is a great way to bolster your lineup of games. If you’re in the market for Nintendo’s console, well, you’re probably out of the luck. The Switch has been incredibly hard to come by and has been sold out pretty much everywhere for much of the year.
