Where to buy an Xbox Series X on Cyber Monday
Looking to purchase an Xbox Series X on Cyber Monday? While there’s no guarantee, here are some retailers where it could be available.
Like the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X has been in high demand this holiday season. Microsoft’s next-gen console has been selling out at every retailer almost the second it returns in stock. For many hopeful gamers, Cyber Monday marks the last big shopping event of the holiday season and one a symbolism for the last hope of getting the Xbox Series X before the New Year.
If you’re looking to buy an Xbox Series X on Cyber Monday, here are some possibilities.
GameStop
GameStop’s Cyber Monday weekly ad doesn’t specifically have any next-gen console call out which suggests the Xbox Series X won’t be in stock. GameStop’s Cyber Monday deals go live on Sunday, November 29 at 8:00 p.m. CST so it’s worth checking out the sale online just to make sure.
Target
Target’s Cyber Monday deals are live and there’s also no mention of the Xbox Series X. Interestingly, there was a leak online that said Target would have PS5s available through the week of November 29, but it’s unclear if that also applied to the Xbox Series X.
Walmart
Walmart hasn’t announced if the Xbox Series X will be in stock on Monday. Usually, Walmart provides a bit of notice, announcing the date and time the console will go on sale. I would follow Walmart on Twitter to see if they announce anything.
Best Buy
Best Buy’s Cyber Monday deals are also live and like the PS5, there’s no mention of the Xbox Series X. However, you can buy an Xbox wireless controller for $39.99, which is $20 cheaper than usual.
Amazon
The Xbox Series X is currently sold out on Amazon and the retailer doesn’t usually announce when it returns to stock. The Xbox Series X product page currently has the message: “We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock,” which suggests probably not in time for Cyber Monday.
Like the PlayStation 5, it doesn’t seem Cyber Monday will be of much help for those looking to buy an Xbox Series X console. While Microsoft is working with retailers to provide supply as quickly as possible, it seems we’ll have to wait a bit longer.
