PS5: Where to buy a PlayStation 5 on Cyber Monday

With Black Friday sales ending, Cyber Monday is the next big shopping day and your best hope for the PS5 to return in stock.

Thanks to the coronavirus pretty much forcing everyone to shop online, retailers’ Black Friday felt a lot like an extended Cyber Monday — especially with the PlayStation 5 being sold online. In any case, retailers will continue their online sales this November 30 and the hope is that the highly coveted PS5 will return to stock.

So where can you buy a PS5 this Cyber Monday? Nothing is guaranteed but there is a chance you may be able to purchase a PS5 online at one of the following retailers:

GameStop

GameStop’s weekly ad runs from Sunday, November 29 through Saturday, December 5. The retailer is actually starting its online Cyber Monday sale at 8:00 p.m. CST on Nov. 29. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of the PlayStation 5 in its ad, which suggests the PS5 will not return in stock.

GameStop was one of the only retailers to sell the PS5 in-store on Black Friday. It was promised that each store location would have at least two in stock which, as you can imagine, sold out immediately. Given the high demand of the PS5, it’s no surprise there’s no mention of it in the weekly ad.

Best Buy

Best Buy’s Cyber Monday deals are already live and there’s no mention of the PlayStation 5. While you can save on games, it doesn’t appear the PS5 will return in stock. I would suggest checking in on the official PS5 product page occasionally on Monday just to make sure.

Target

There are rumors that Target will release PS5 batches in waves through the week of November 29, after Cyber Monday. The leak says the PS5 will be sold online.

Walmart

Walmart usually announces when they’ll have the PS5 in stock. There’s been no heads-up given for Cyber Monday so it doesn’t seem like any will be in stock.

Amazon

If the PlayStation 5 returns in stock, it won’t be advertised or announced. You’ll just have to check throughout the day.

Overall, it seems like Cyber Monday will be a bust when it comes to shopping for the PlayStation 5 console. It’s possible the PS5 will be available throughout the holiday season, but supply is severely outweighed by demand right now.
