You can hide in vents, the darkness, and even lockers, but make too much noise and the alien will know exactly where your whereabouts are located. You are never given anything throughout the game that can kill the alien, but instead stun it so that you can have a little extra time to try and escape this dreaded creature. The cool thing about this game is that you can’t just run around recklessly. You have to be very strategic in how you are going to outplay the Xenomorph otherwise it will hear your footsteps and you are on the menu for dinner.
Something else that makes this game more on the scary side is that the soundtrack for the video game. Music can make or break a video game and the fact that this game has some pretty bone-chilling music sets the stage perfectly as a horror video game should be. Your flashlight is going to be your best friend in Alien: Isolation, so you better make sure you have enough batteries to keep it lit.
