Knuckles

If you’re a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, be it the feature film, video game, animated, or web series, it goes without question that you know who Knuckles the Echidna is.

Much like Scorpion was in that last entry, he too is deceived into believing something that isn’t true by the real antagonist of the story. Despite this similarity, there are some key differences to go over, though.

For one, the sinister-looking Quan Chi is replaced with a much more cartoonish looking mad scientist named Doctor Eggman. Secondly, this story is a lot less dark.

Instead of the bit about murder and avenging the loss of the people you care for, Eggman tricks Knuckles into believing that Sonic is trying to steal his Master Emerald.

After realizing that he’s been hoodwinked, Knuckles teams up with Sonic and Tails and the rest is history, as they say.
