4. Washington Capitals

The Washington Capitals are always going to be a team that people choose to get them wins. After all, they do have Alex Ovechkin who is tied with Sidney Crosby for 2nd highest rating in NHL 21 with a 93 overall, and a whole arsenal of players that continue to make them a team to be reckoned with. The Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup in 2018 and since then they have been able to continue to win and make the playoffs both years following.

Gamers have always been a fan of playing and taking control of Alex Ovechkin and with the skill he has, why not? For many, many years Alex Ovechkin has given gamers headaches with his pin-point accuracy that are leaving gamers wondering how in the world he was able to pick the corner even in a video game. His skill doesn’t lie and he also has a great defender in John Carlson on his team that is going to cause defensive havoc. John Carlson is a great defender and he can also put the puck in the back of the net as well. Carlson had a whopping 75 points (15 Goals, 60 Assists) in 69 games played this year. If Carlson and Oveckin aren’t enough firepower, the Capitals also have Kuznetsov, Backstrom, and Brayden Holtby. Three more Capitals players that have been a huge part of the Washington Capitals’ recent success and the main reason why they will help you pick up some wins in NHL 21.
