The Story

Alright, so I know I told you this was the most important segment, and the story is the most important part of this game, but I am actually going to be pretty short and vague in my review of the story. That is because you should go into this story as blind as possible because finding things out is most of the story.

The story segments of this game has the player taking control of a character and investigating the weird goings-on surrounding several settings and events. The player needs to gather information and use that information – through the thought cloud – to gather even more information.

Sometimes these story segments are locked behind certain combat sections, while some combat sections are locked behind certain story sections, keeping the game balanced and keeping the playthrough from getting too boring.

This story is told through 13 different characters, all of whom’s story intertwine and connect to build a complete story that pulls itself together at the end. Each character’s story can range from 2 to 4 hours of gameplay, and the finale is another few hours. All of these characters are unique and enjoyable in their own way, and their stories are all pretty unique, making all of the storylines pretty fun.

The story involves time travel, love triangles, aliens, science, quantum mechanics, politics, social issues, literature, and is a joy to experience.

If I had to complain about something: Time travel. Any story involving time travel can get complicated and this story jumps back and forth through time with no warning or notice so often that it can get very confusing.
