Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Minecraft’s Steve and Alex revealed as next DLC

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is set to get DLC characters from one of the most popular video games in the gaming industry, Minecraft.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Minecraft are two very different games but they are among two of the most popular in gaming. Now we have gotten news that they are coming together in a very interesting way.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a game well-built around DLC and their latest news has sent shockwaves through the gaming community. For the first time ever, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be adding three unique characters from Minecraft that you can battle it out with. These three characters are Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman. You’ll be able to play as Steve or Alex and swap to Enderman or a Zombie.

Hearing this news might be shocking since these two video games are on two opposite ends of the spectrum. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a game about fighting and settling all your problems on the battlefield. On the other end of the spectrum, Minecraft is an open world sandbox game where the only rules are the ones set by your imagination. You create a world and play the video game how you want to play it. Seeing Minecraft making its presence in a game like Super Smash Bros. is something that is a great marketing move by Nintendo that is surely going to sell a ton of DLC.

The cool part about the Minecraft characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC is that you won’t just get four characters as part of the Fighter Pass Vol. 2 DLC. You’ll also get a Minecraft themed stage and seven music tracks from the Minecraft series.
