Unworthy Thor

Speaking of Ultimate Thor, as the Ultimate Universe was being destroyed and on the way out, Ultimate Thor’s dying action was to hurl his axe/hammer Stormbreaker into the dimensional bleed. It came to the default Marvel universe and crashed in the woods where it was found by the Thor we know and love.

It’s good for him too because our Thor was not having a good time. He had lost his title and his link to Mjornir. The title of Thor was passed onto Jane Foster who, honestly, was doing a really good job at it. Oh, and he’s lost an arm, replaced with a prosthetic. So that’s not fun.

So imagine Thor’s joy — well not joy as he was still really sad, but luck — as he found this interdimensional Stormbreaker from the Ultimate Universe recognized him and granted him his abilities back. Stormbreaker was the Wish dot com version of Mjornir but it got the Odinson back on his feet and gave us this unique look for our dude.

First off, it’s not a cape; it’s a cloak. But the power of the storm blew the hood up so he’s not wearing rags with a cape as that would be silly. That’s what I tell myself anyway.

This is a cool look for him. Instead of a special shiny armor that has a built-in six-CD player, we get a cool and rugged cloth attire AND a cybernetic arm. Not only that but just like with Ultimate Thor, we get to use Stormbreaker. Prepare to feel guilty every time you smash an enemy and remember that there was a 50% chance you drove a blade into them.
