Week three of the NFL season is quickly approaching with some teams already making huge impacts. These five teams are well deserving of a ratings boost in Madden 21.

It’s hard to believe that we are already heading into Week 3 of the NFL regular season. With no pre-season season, it took a while for teams to shake off the rust but, more importantly, EA now has something to judge and rate teams based on the eyball test. Some teams have looked really good these first two weeks — perhaps teams that weren’t shown some love ahead of the season. With that being said, EA might take note of some of these things and potentially give some of the teams that are playing really well right now a well-deserved ratings boost in Madden 21.

Obviously, at this point in the season, things are still early. You can’t really fully define a team based off of two games in a sixteen game season. However, what you can do is evaluate all 32 NFL teams and see which teams have good form and which teams look to be forces to be reckoned with going forward through the rest of the season. With that being said, there are five teams that have really stuck out to me so far this season that really deserve to get a ratings boost in Madden 21.

1. Arizona Cardinals

I am actually really shocked as to how good the Arizona Cardinals have played during their first two games. We have seen Kyler Murray lead the Cardinals to two big wins to open up the season.

The most surprising of the two wins so far was going into San Francisco in Week 1 and stunning the 49ers on the road in a 24-20 victory. Not many people expected the Cardinals to win that game, myself included, but they played above expectations. Kyler Murray controlled the offense well through the air and on the ground and that played a big part in their win. On the defensive end of things, the defense also played extremely well by only allowing a 49ers team to score 20 points.

In Week 2 the Cardinals capped off a nice home win over the Washington Football team by a score of 30-15. A comfortable win followed by another nice defensive day.

After only getting a total of five total wins all of 2019, they already have started out their 2020 campaign with 2 wins and 0 losses. The way that the Arizona Cardinals are playing at the moment and based on their upcoming schedule ( Week 3: Home against Lions, Week 4: @ Panthers, Week 5: @ Jets) there is no reason that they can’t starts off the season 5-0 and ultimately reach their season win total from last year in a minimal amount of games. If there is one team that deserves a ratings boost in Madden 21 going into Week 3, it’s the Arizona Cardinals. EA Sports don’t sleep on this team.
