Tyreek Hill is once again the fastest player in the game and no surprise there. If you’re looking to build a young core in franchise mode, you’ll want to take a look at Henry Ruggs III, the rookie drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders. With 98 speed, he’s the second fastest in the game.
John Ross III, once the fastest-rated wide receiver in Madden, checks in with 96 speed. D.K. Metcalf, the Seattle Seahawks second-year receiver who emerged as a legitimate deep threat last season, has 95 speed but is also only rated 79 overall making him a very intriguing trade option.
Keep in mind that these ratings are for the launch of Madden 21 and can change weekly depending on EA’s roster updates. We’re still expecting the week one roster update that should finalize the 53-man rosters for each team but don’t expect that to adjust player ratings too much as there’s been no preseason games played.
