New York Giants

What happened to the New York Giants? A New York Giants team that won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots in 2007 and also won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots in 2011.

In the past seven seasons, the New York Giants only have one season where they finished with an above .500 record. A team that has won multiple Super Bowls and was a force to be reckoned with in the NFL is now well into the rebuilding phase of their franchise. With Eli Manning retiring two seasons ago, it was clear that the New York Giants were going to move in a different direction. It is never easy when a team that used to be so good now has to go through a rebuilding phase. Not only does it stink for the team and all the players who want to win a Super Bowl, but it also stinks for New York Giant fans as well.

Obviously, when a team does not have a very good season, it is going to impact the team when the Madden video game releases that same year. Madden 21 is not going to be friendly to the New York Giants in terms of team ratings, but I am sure that somewhere down the line the Giants will be a team that many Madden players want to play as yet again.

For now, if you do decide that you want to give the Giants a go at least they have a player higher than a 90 overall in Saquon Barkley (91 overall). Barkley will be sure to give the New York Giants a boost both in the NFL and in Madden 21, but he won’t be able to carry the team himself.

While the Giants begin to rebuild and figure out what players they need to recruit on offense and defense, it is better off that you don’t play as them yet. Using the Giants in Madden 21 will ultimately put you at a disadvantage because they don’t have any reliable players as of yet besides Saquon Barkley. However, I know their franchise can turn things around in the near future.
