Left Field

Corey Dickerson (MIA) – Age 30, Overall 80, Potential B, Contract $8.8M (2 years)

At $8.8M, it’s surprising Dickerson is on the Marlins. He won’t blow you away defensively, but he’s solid in the OF. He is, however, a fantastic hitter (85 contact vs R, 78 contact vs L).

Adam Duvall (ATL) – Age 31, Overall 79, Potential C, Contract $3.3M (2 years ARB)

Duvall isn’t going to light the world on fire, but he’s a solid starter at multiple positions, an excellent fielder (75-81 in defensive ratings) and can hit for power (65 vs R, 77 vs L). Easier to trade for than the other Braves outfield, Ozuna.

Peter O’Brien (ATL) – Age 29, Overall 67, Potential D, Contract $530K (Final Year)

I like to trade for Peter O’Brien as a bench piece. He’s incredibly easy to trade for, and despite his overall, he’s a decent outfield with 78 arm strength and 65 speed, and decent power numbers (63 vs R, 69 vs L).

Marcell Ozuna (ATL) – Age 29, Overall 85, Potential B, Contract $18M (Final Year)

Due to his contract he’s not hard to trade for. Ozuna is a good hitter and fielder if you are in need of outfield help, but he’s on a one year deal. He could be had without giving up pieces in free agency.

Tommy Pham (SD) – Age 32, Overall 89, Potential A, Contract $7.9M (1 year ARB)

Tommy Pham is another guy that I’m surprised is always on the trading block. He’s a good hitter, fielder and has nice speed as well. His contract isn’t terrible, but maybe combined with his age and being in SD, he’s always offered in trades.

Juan Soto (WAS) – Age 21, Overall 89, Potential A, Contract $575K (1 year RNW, 3 years ARB)

Want to trade for the best upcoming young, affordable power hitter in the outfield? Soto is insanely difficult to trade for, as he should be. But if you really want a close to elite hitter (both contact and power) on a friendly deal, give up whatever it takes to get Soto.

Kyle Tucker (HOU) – Age 23, Overall 74, Potential A, Contract $584K (2 years RNW, 3 years ARB)

A good fielder with good speed, Tucker is going to be a little tough to trade for, but he grows into a good hitter after a couple of years. Great for a rebuild.
