Steel Path update coming to console

This is obviously a no brainer, but given that updates take about a couple weeks to a month after PC players do and they received it last week. With it, players will be given access to what is essentially a “hard mode” for star chart missions. Also, players are also going to be able to purchase the Khora Urushu Skin and set.

The Steel Path acts as a means for players to revisit the earlier planets of the game and actually benefit from it. Resource gains are increased, as well as mastery upon completion of the revamped nodes. You also acquire Steel Essence from eximus units in missions to trade in for Kuva, relics, and blueprints for Teshin’s armor. Though these missions have already seemed to be a cakewalk for veteran players, it adds some much-needed difficulty that Warframe didn’t really offer other than for endurance runs on endless missions.

This was a rather small update on PC, so I would not be surprised if the Steel Path actually comes out before or right on the day of Tennocon 2020 as an added bonus to some surprise reveal throughout the event.

A tip for console players: you can check which nodes on the star chart you still haven’t completed by visiting the Arbiters of Hexis at any Relay. The requirements to play Arbitration missions are the same as the Steel Path’s.
