It was only a matter of time before this man made it onto this list. Mario Lemieux was great in a lot of NHL video games, but some may argue that his greatest video game appearance came in NHL 94.

If Mario Lemieux had the puck in that game, it was near to impossible to take it away from him. It is only fair that a player of Lemieux’s magnitude has a video game where he can be a little over powered.

NHL 94 was also right in the middle of Mario Lemieux’s Hall of Fame career. There was no doubt that EA Sports was going to make one of the greatest hockey players to ever live also one of the best video game players of their current game at the time.
