Situational themes

This one is my preferred way to go about it. You get points if your rooms fit themes. Have a kitchen with counters, appliances, coffee maker, eating area and all that. Have a bedroom with beds, dressers, comfy rug, that sort of thing. I also have a writing office where I have a desk with a typewriter (until I can find that dang laptop item) some filing cabinets and things of that nature.

Having these sorts of themes can not only help you design a room that doesn’t look like the back-end of a Spencer’s Gifts but also can net you some easy points.

You can even do things where maybe you have a space themed room or make a little greenhouse with potted plants and the like everywhere. Do you.

Lucky items

It’s a bit of a baller move but if you have the gold and the insane amount of parts some of the recipes call for you can make lucky items. You can tell it’s a lucky item if it’s not JUST gold (like the golden plates) but it has gold in the recipe.

A perfect example of this is the famed “Giant Robot”. Though, if you actually have the ability to build this, hit me up and tell me how you did it without time traveling. I think I’d have better luck building a giant robot in real life. But if you have the ability to have this items (or you REALLY lucked out from a balloon) drop one of those bad boys in your room to get a huge bonus.
