Animal Crossing: New Horizons has many things that make the game great. It has fully upgraded the museum into some place you actually want to visit and explore. The multiplayer aspects are a joy as well. Leaving your gates open so that people can randomly visit is a very exciting thing when you’re just chilling and trying to fish.

What truly makes Animal Crossing: New Horizons so great to play, though, is the millions of subtle things. Mixed into the game are tons of little nuances that you may not even notice or think about it. Here’s a couple of items you may have missed.

Villager Interactions

Walking around you’ll notice the villagers doing a ride array of activities. Reading, exercising, fishing, napping under a tree, all sorts of stuff. One of the coolest things though is when you see two of them talking.

Approach them and interact as they’re speaking and you’ll get to see a conversation between two of the villagers. It’s really neat because the villagers have some very diverse personalities and it’s really great to see more depth added to the villagers.
