MUT 20: 2020 NFL Draft first round class available in Madden Ultimate Team
Joe Burrow, Chase Young and the rest of the first rounders in the 2020 NFL Draft Class are now available in Madden Ultimate Team.
Good news Madden fans, you won’t have to wait until Madden NFL 21 to play as this year’s 2020 NFL Draft stars. EA has updated Madden Ultimate Team in Madden 20 with the entire first round draft class.
Among the players added to MUT is quarterback Joe Burrow who went first overall to the Cincinnati Bengals. The former LSU Tigers quarterback and 2019 Heisman winner enters Madden 20 Ultimate Team with a 99 overall rating. He’s got 93 Throw Power and 99, 97 and 98 Throw Accuracy Short, Mid and Deep, respectively. He’s also got the Improviser Archetype.
Burrow is joined by the rest of the 2020 first round Draft Class, which includes the likes of LE Chase Young (Washington Redskins, 98 OVR), CB Jeff Okudah (Detroit Lions, 98 OVR) and LT Andrew Thomas (New York Giants, 98 OVR).
Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who entered the draft with the biggest question mark due to that devastating hip injury, ultimately went fifth to the Miami Dolphins. He boasts 86 Speed, 96 Throw Power and 99, 95 and 96 Throw Accuracy Short, Mid and Deep. He’s a Field General Archetype.

What do you think of the 2020 NFL Draft first round class? While it’s exciting to have them in Madden 20 Ultimate Team, we’ll get to fully appreciate them in Madden 21. Interestingly, EA has still not officially announced this year’s game, which comes as a bit of a shock.
Typically, EA unveils the latest Madden game during the NFL Draft. They revealed Madden 20 during the first round of last year’s draft along with Patrick Mahomes as the cover star.
Prior to the start of this year’s draft, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson revealed himself to be the cover athlete of Madden 21. EA acknowledged he spoiled the announcement ahead of time but still has not revealed the game.
Why Madden 21 hasn’t yet been announced is anyone’s guess. We know it’ll probably come out for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, so maybe EA is waiting for those consoles to have an official release date first. Or maybe the coronavirus has put a wrinkle in EA’s marketing plans.
In any case, you can enjoy the current draft class in Madden 20 Ultimate Team.
