Celeste

“But Eric,” I see you typing, “Celeste is already in the game!” Yes, she is; but, not correctly.

Celeste is a great character. She’s the little sister of the museum owl Blathers. She’s poetic, shy, and so charming that for some reason the game gave you the option to randomly just tell her she’s adorable. She’s obsessed with the stars and will happily tell you about them and her love of space.

As of now, she shows up sometimes at night in your town which is a sign there’s going to be a meteor shower. She has no role in the museum however and this is a shame.

Also she has a wicked crush on Tom Nook which I want to hear more about.

Celeste’s NEW role in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

So, let Celeste wander around like she’s doing. That’s her thing and she loves it and I’m not about to take that from my lil’ owl buddy. But, after you’ve talked to her enough, get the option to build something onto the museum for her. I recommend an observatory and planetarium on the second floor. There’s currently a second floor on the museum but right now it’s used for…two benches. Let’s fix this.

Give us the option to bring her various star fragments and meteorites (much like bugs, fish and fossils to Blathers) and have her build other exhibits based off what she gets. Let her tell us the stories. Let her tell us the stories of the different constellations. Let our stargirl live her best life, Nintendo!
