Bunny Day – April 12
I’m as excited for April 12th as I am April 13th. April 12th is the almost two-week long Bunny Day event that has been in place in Animal Crossing: New Horizons since the spring update hit. A series of vague rules and a town covered in eggs all lead up to this moment where we find out we’ve either been doing it wrong or we get something that we’ll probably put in storage forever. There’s also a possibility that they’ll bring back the egg hunt from past games, an event where you have a certain amount of time to run around town and find as many eggs as possible in a race against your fellow villagers.
April 13th also brings something even cooler. It marks the first day where Zipper T. Bunny and his swarm of eggs gets the heck off your island and I am there for it. I’ve greatly disliked this event because I was excited for the cherry blossom items and the time to collect those recipes ends on the 11th. I’ve gotten one recipe because everything has just been eggs. He can go back to whatever Silent Hill-esque portal he crawled from.
