Nintendo Switch Online has added four more games to the NES and Super NES collections. Let’s take a look at each of them.

When Nintendo first dropped the Nintendo and Super Nintendo channels on the Nintendo Switch is was an amazing feature and well worth the price of the online subscription. Games were added every month and it was an incredible value, especially with the constant additions.

Then, Nintendo announced they were doing away with regular updates which I guess is alright because we already have over 40 great titles to pick from and it’s still a good value. The problem is that I figured if the longer wait would result in more worthy games. Instead, as we just saw with Nintendo’s recent update, I think Nintendo is just out of IPs to use.

In Nintendo’s recent updates, they added two Nintendo games and two Super Nintendo games and they are… definitely choices. For Nintendo, you have Shadow of the Ninja and Eliminator Boat Duel. I am not making up either title. For the Super Nintendo, we’ve got Pop’n Twin Bee as well as Smash Tennis which, sorry, has absolutely nothing to do with the amazing Smash Bros franchise.

Let’s really get into these and see if there might be a diamond in the rough, rough, rough series of games Nintendo dropped on our doormat.
