Warframe: How to farm for and build Nekros Prime

Nekros Prime, Death’s New Master, is back from the Vault in Warframe. Follow this guide to farm for the relics and build the primed variant of Nekros.

Oberon Prime isn’t the only prime warframe to emerge from the vault in Warframe. Arriving alongside him is the other force in eternal balance, Nekros Prime, who’s probably the stronger choice between the two.

While you can purchase Nekros Prime from the Prime Vault, you are also able to farm for and build it. It takes a bit longer, but you can save money this way. The good news is that there is some overlap between the relics for Oberon Prime and Nekros Prime, so you should be able to farm both of them together at the same time.

Blueprint – Lith T3 (uncommon)

As per usual, Lith relics are best farmed from Hepit in the Void. Completing this capture mission guarantees a Lith relic every time, so you can grab the Nekros Prime blueprint as well as the Oberon Prime blueprint, potentially.

Neuroptics – Meso 04 (uncommon)

This is the same relic as needed for Oberon Prime, so head to Ukko and complete the capture mission or complete bounties in Tier 3 Cetus (Plains of Eidolon) or Fortuna (Orb Vallis).

Chassis – Axi S6 (common)

Again, you’ll want to farm for Axi relics by completing bounties in Cetus or Fortuna. Tier 5 bounties drop Axi relics.

Systems – Neo N11 (rare)

Once again, like Oberon Prime, Nekros Prime also requires Neo relics. You can farm for these by completing Tier 4 bounties in Cetus or Fortuna.

Here are the manufacturing requirements for each of the Nekros Prime components:

Neuroptics

• 15,000 credits
• 15,000 alloy plate
• 3 neural sensors
• 12,000 polymer bundle
• 5 nitrain extract

Chassis

• 15,000 credits
• 3 morphics
• 18,000 ferrite
• 6,000 rubedo
• 2 argon crystal

Systems 

• 15,000 credits
• 3 control module
• 3 tellurium
• 15,000 salvage
• 500 plastids

Each individual component requires 12 hours of build time. Once complete, you can manufacture Nekros Prime for an additional 25,000 credits, 3 Orokin Cell and another 72 hours.
